Brewing Instructions: Use a teaspoon or less of leaf. Give the leaves a quick “wake-up” rinse before brewing. Water temperature is best just below boiling or about 195-205 degrees F. The first steep will be short, a minute or less. Infuse the leaves repeatedly until flavor is exhausted.

The name of this tea comes from the downy hairs that covers its leaves. The Hairy Crab contains a high concentration of polyphenols, an anti-cancer agent which also help prevent heart diseases.
